Common Problems With Anca Spindles

Anca spindles are very well engineered and they are built with quality in mind. The most common mode of failure is contamination from the grinding process entering the spindle. This causes the bearings to fail prematurely, the electrical systems to malfunction and premature spindle failure. Although contamination is difficult to prevent we have several steps in our repair process that reduce the possibility of it entering your spindle.

When we receive your Anca Spindle it will undergo a rigorous inspection process identifying the cause of failure and what can be done to prevent future failures. During the breakdown of your Anca, we photograph the different problem areas, as well as the undamaged areas of the spindle to ensure that you are fully aware of the extent your spindle needs to be repaired. From there, your spindle is passed to our Production Manager for a final review to make sure that your quote is accurate based on the damage that was described to us. If the spindle failure can be prevented we will recommend actions that can be taken.

Your spindle is then repaired and then sent through our QC department to ensure your repair is of the high quality standards that Northland Tool prides itself on. Before your Anca spindle is prepared for shipping, outgoing photos will be taken and logged, inspection reports will be sent with the spindle and a complete history of your repair will be filed. This information will be available for use at any time to review.
