50 taper Emergency repair

Our customer crashed this spindle into the workpiece causing front bearing failure and 12 microns of run out in the 50 taper. We were able to kiss grind the taper and rebuild the spindle with bearings from our large inventory. The repair was completed in less than 48 hours and our customer was making parts with in 3 days of crashing the spindle.
