Our customer had difficulty finding support from the OEM regarding spindle repair. They are also a small shop and this machine is an important part of their production capacity. The damage found in the spindle was significant: Failed rotary union, damaged drawbar, failed grippers, badly damaged taper from tool spinning, broken drive dogs etc.
