SKF
This repair is very typical of a SKF/Gilman type spindle. It came in with rear bearing failure that was caused by a combination of contamination and belt tension. The rear housing had fretted and needed to be ground plate ground to bring the dimensions to spec. That was done in our in house grinding department. The spindle was then rebuilt in our clean room, test run and final QC’d before shipment.
