Spindles are sometimes damaged when a spindle is not properly packaged before it is shipped to us. This spindle came to us because the tool was stuck and the bearings were bad. We also found that the electrical connectors and outer housing were damaged because the spindle was too big for the container that it was shipped in.

We removed the tooling and had to grind, chrome plate and finish grind the taper. The bearings were replaced. All electrical connectors were replaced and we fixed the outer housing the best that we could.

A new container had to be built because the spindle would not be shipped back in the original one. It is important to secure your spindle even before you send your spindle repair in.
