This spindle had a leaking rotary union that allowed coolant to flow into the rear of the spindle. It eventually washed the grease from the bearings and ultimately caused the spindle to fail. The customer replaced the rotary union on this machine, installed our rebuilt spindle and was up and running problem free in just a few days.
