Possible cause of failure:
Taper and od of shaft nose are damaged. Taper looks hand ground with a die grinder.
Od of shaft nose has rub out with front cover ID.
The drive dog and drive dog pocket on shaft are damaged.
Spindle appears that it was crashed, possible cause of Rotor being loose on the shaft.
Rotor was loose on the shaft(see video)(hydraulic rotor).
Bearings were starting to fail from contamination.
Front cover has rub out damage, and gouge’s on the front od edge.
Front cover large coolant jet’s are damaged.
Rear drawbar thread’s are slightly damaged.
Clean, inspect overall dimensions.
Replace bearings, o-ring’s ,encoder sensor, coolant jets, drive dog, lock washers, and bolts.
Replace bearings and orings in the actuator.
Repair drawbar thread damage.
Repair front cover ID damage.
Grind, chrome plate and finish grind the 50 shaft taper. (CT tooling supplied).
Adjust preload, balance, assemble and break in. Final quality control inspection.
