Possible cause of failure:
#1 front bearing noisy & worn due to fatigue from crashing.
Inpro seal & Bellevilles are worn.
Rotary union is a consumable part and should be replaced.
Gripper fingers do not exhibit excessive wear.
Rear shaft nut has several balance holes.
One field lead has resistance to ground when moved.
Clean, inspect overall dimensions.
Replace bearings, drawbar seals, Bellevilles, rotary union, inpro seal, rear shaft nut.
Adjust all spacers as needed.
Rewind stator field.
Adjust preload, balance, assemble and break in. Final quality control inspection.
