Miyano BX Spindle Repair
This Miyano BX spindle suffered from a severe case of coolant contamination. The front and rear bearings, rear housing, and stator were all contaminated with coolant. All critical dimensions were within ISO tolerance.
The following actions were performed on this Miyano BX spindle:
- Clean, inspect overall dimensions
- Clean stator windings of coolant
- Replace bearings, o-rings, and bolts
After reassembly of all components, adjusting bearing preload, and undergoing break-in and testing procedures, this spindle passed our final quality inspection before being returned to our customer with a 1-year warranty.
