Oil Mist Lubricated
The front bearings failed on this spindle causing it to stop rotating. The rear housing was out of tolerance due to fretting. We ground plate ground the rear housing on our Kellenburger grinder and then assembled the spindle in our clean room. The spindle was test run at 60,000 rpm and vibration readings were taken. Final QC checked all run outs and overall spindle condition. After the QC department signed off the spindle was shipped to our customer.
